Velvet Knot Weddings is led by longtime friends and creative partners, Renée Browne and Vanessa Chatel.
Our story began over 18 years ago at Renée’s family photography studio, where Vanessa started as an intern. What began as mentorship evolved into a seamless creative partnership built on trust, shared standards, and a unified creative vision.
That history allows us to photograph weddings with calm confidence and genuine connection — nearly two decades of friendship woven into every story we tell.
